Fruit and cheese- an awesome quick pairing when you’re having a few friends over. We’ve all done it. But why not take an extra few minutes to slice up those ingredients? Add some honey, and voila! You are now a modern day, Suzy Homemaker.
Yah, you! Because sometimes the simplest ingredients, create the best combinations.
- 1 granny smith apple
- 1/4 cup walnut pieces
- 2 Tbsp honey
- salt & pepper
- optional: raisins
Slice apple thinly and cut each piece of sliced apple in half. Add a sliced pieces of brie on top. Mix walnut pieces in a small bowl and add honey. Add a touch of salt and lots of cracked pepper. Mix, and top on sliced apples. EAT!
NB. You’ll probably only need half of your brie for this recipe, so you can easily double it or save it for something else. For another quick brie recipe, try our Apricot Cherry Baked Brie
