Pumpkin Chocolate Latte

Just because Starbucks stopped selling their famous pumpkin lattes, doesn’t mean you can’t have ’em at home… So if like me, you got yourself some leftover pumpkin; add it to your morning coffee!

Got pumpkin?

Ingredients (yields 1 latte)

  • 1/2 cup espresso or coffee
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp pumpkin puree (Canned)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp white sugar
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cocoa powder
  • dash of nutmeg
  • 1 tsp brown sugar (optional)

Directions: Brew espresso. Add milk and all other ingredients in a large mug and mix well. Heat mug in microwave (or stove on low: mixing constantly) for 2 minutes. If you have a milk steamer or frother- even better! Pour espresso in a pretty glass and fill with milk mixture. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. DRINK.
